Trezor Login
Secure access to your Trezor hardware wallet — connect, authenticate, and manage your crypto safely.
How to log in to your Trezor
- Download & open Trezor Suite. Use the official Trezor Suite desktop app (Windows/macOS/Linux) or the official web flow. Never download software from unofficial links.
- Connect your Trezor device. Plug your Trezor into the computer with the supplied USB cable. Unlock your computer and allow any WebUSB prompt if using a browser-based flow.
- Enter your device PIN on the Trezor. When prompted, enter the PIN directly on the device or using the device-screen-assisted input — not into the computer keyboard for web prompts when instructed otherwise.
- Confirm actions on the device screen. Every transaction, address, or permission request must be verified and approved directly on your Trezor’s screen.
- Use optional passphrase for extra security. If you enabled a passphrase, you must enter it during unlock. Remember: a passphrase is effectively a 25th (or Nth) word — if you forget it, your funds may be irrecoverable.
Quick troubleshooting
- Device not detected?
- Try a different USB cable/port and ensure the device screen is on. For web flows, enable WebUSB in your browser.
- Forgot PIN?
- A forgotten PIN requires device wipe and recovery from your recovery seed (if you have one). Never enter your recovery seed into any website.
- Browser prompts?
- Only accept prompts from known, official sources. If a prompt looks suspicious, disconnect and follow official support guides.
Best practices & security
- Only use official links: trezor.io/start and official app downloads.
- Never type or copy your recovery seed into a computer, phone, or cloud service.
- Use a strong PIN and consider a hidden passphrase for extra protection.
- Verify all addresses and transaction details on your device's screen before confirming.
- Store your recovery seed physically in multiple secure locations (metal backup recommended).
